The benefits of Valentine's Day | fall in love will sleep well, the more love the more fragrant

Sleeping is important, and so is having a partner, and what if those two things happen together?

There is really an unexpected benefit: people who sleep better with a partner in the same bed.

And, the better the relationship partner, the better the sleep.

The more time you spend together, the better you sleep

Is there anything more relaxing than sleeping with your partner?

Especially when the other is your familiar partner, every night to see each other lying on their side, each other with the familiar breathing rate in the night silent resonance.

When you can't sleep, tacitly nestled in each other's arms, and then together with a deep sleep, the arms of lovers is the cradle of adults, time is put aside at this time, space in this place dissolved.

The study found that sleeping with a regular partner really makes you sleep better.

A study looked at several groups to test the sleep time of various ethnic groups, and after a test, researchers found that people with regular partners fell asleep faster than those who were single or had only sexual partners, falling asleep a full 10.5 minutes earlier.

In addition to faster sleep times, a study by a team of researchers at the University of Pittsburgh found that for middle-aged women, those with stable partners had better sleep quality, as evidenced by fewer nighttime awakenings and more continuous sleep.

The more harmonious the sexual relationship, the better the sleep

One of the reasons humans look for a partner is to be able to have legal, regular access to sexual resources and then to do sex with the object.

The more and better this thing is done, the better the sleep will be accordingly.

Making out with your partner before going to bed improves the quality of sleep for 63.1% of people, and 59% of them have their sleep time shortened.

If you take it a step further and have an orgasm with both partners, you get 70.8% better sleep, and 62.5% of you fall asleep for less time.

So, sex is a natural "sleeping pill".

In addition, studies have also found a significant relationship between orgasm frequency and length of sleep.

Those who reported having orgasms "every time" fell asleep 12 minutes faster than those who reported never or rarely having orgasms.

Those who had orgasms "most of the time" averaged 9.3 minutes faster than those who had orgasms "never or rarely".

Why can sex improve sleep?

It has to do with hormone production in the body.

Sex increases the release of prolactin, a hormone that not only makes you feel closer to your partner, but also lowers the levels of cortisol (which is a stress-related hormone), making you feel like a burden has been lifted off your body.

In addition, orgasm increases the release of prolactin, which makes you feel relaxed and sleepy. All of this, eventually, will put you into a comfortable and drowsy state.

In fact, not only sex, but also cuddling and touching will improve sleep.

The skin is the body's largest organ, and it transmits good and bad touch to the brain.

When you are pleasantly touched, your brain also releases oxytocin. In addition, studies have found that being touched can also lower your heart rate and blood pressure, reduce depression and anxiety, boost your immune system, and even relieve pain.

So, in addition to doing things in bed, do not forget to use hugs and touch to express your love.

Partners who sleep better, in addition to spending enough time together, familiar with each other's body odor, physically more intimate, there is another important reason.

More emotional satisfaction.

The more emotional satisfaction you get, the better you sleep

We all know that sleep is not just a physical thing, it's an emotional thing.

Sleeping well is easier for us when the person next to us is able to give us more soothing and support beyond providing physical companionship.

In studies of sleep time, researchers have tested the suspicion that those who perceive themselves as "very satisfied" emotionally fall asleep 10.5 to 12 minutes earlier than those who perceive themselves as "rarely satisfied" or "not at all satisfied" emotionally.

However, for men, there was no significant difference in the length of time to fall asleep for different levels of emotional satisfaction. In other words, emotional satisfaction has a greater impact on the length of sleep for women.

In addition, for women, the need for security also influenced sleep quality.

  • People with low security needs are more independent and more comfortable with being alone.
  • People with high security needs are more eager for the company of their partners.
The study found that people with high security needs had significantly better sleep quality when accompanied by their partners, according to participants' subjective reports.

However, the above is established on the premise that you prefer to sleep with other people rather than a solo sleeper.

Happy Valentine's Day to all!
